students who are RISE global winners and one who is an inaugural Ellison Scholar who will be fully funded to attend and

Applicants are evaluated on their academic strength, problem-solving ability, leadership potential, and dedication to service. We seek individuals who show initiative, embrace collaboration, and bring unique perspectives that enrich our learning environment.
Financial Aid and Need-Blind Admissions
Our admissions process is need-blind, meaning financial circumstances are never considered when evaluating applicants. Once admitted, students receive comprehensive need-based aid covering 95% to 100% of tuition, allowing them to focus fully on their education and personal growth.

Our selection process is powered by the people who know USAP best. Alumni and faculty volunteer their time to read applications, conduct interviews, and recommend students who reflect our values and potential for success. This community-driven approach ensures that each applicant is evaluated with both insight and care.

Our student demographics reflect a rich blend of urban, rural, and refugee backgrounds, with 56% of students coming from urban areas, 33% from rural communities, and 11% from refugee backgrounds. This diverse mix not only enhances the learning experience but also prepares students to thrive in a globalized world by exposing them to a variety of perspectives and life experiences.


A Rigorous & Purposeful Curriculum
The curriculum includes Cambridge A Levels in STEM and Liberal Arts, mandatory Humanities courses, Research Methods, and Community Capstone Projects. Students must complete three Cambridge AS/A Levels and the Duolingo English Test, with SAT/ACT requirements waived.

Our Cambridge A Level program offers a balanced education in STEM and Liberal Arts, challenging students intellectually and fostering critical thinking. This curriculum prepares students for diverse fields, whether in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or the humanities.
Research Methods & Community Capstone Projects
Our curriculum focuses on research methods and community capstone projects, encouraging students to tackle real-world issues and apply academic knowledge to create solutions. These projects enhance research skills and foster social responsibility, providing experience in project management, teamwork, and communication.

Computers and Introduction to Programming
This course provides students with essential skills to navigate and utilize technology effectively while introducing core programming concepts. Designed to build confidence and curiosity, the course prepares students for further study and everyday digital challenges.
