We are proud to announce that USAP Community School has been named a Top 10 Finalist for the World’s Best School Prize for Innovation 2025, presented by T4 Education!

The World's Best School Prizes are awarded across 5 categories: Community Collaboration, Environmental Action, Innovation, Overcoming Adversity, and Supporting Healthy Lives. 10 Finalists are selected as finalists for each category, and USAP Community School has been selected as as Finalist for Innovation, and is the first Zimbabwean school shortlisted for this prize.

This recognition affirms the transformative impact of learner-centred innovation, equity, and purpose-driven teaching. But this journey isn’t just ours — it’s powered by a passionate community. In addition to traditional subjects, our innovative curriculum allows students to take part in a three-year Capstone curriculum, where they are taught quantitative and qualitative research methods, evidence-based design thinking, and are encouraged to think deeply about an issue in their community that they care about and want to address. Students conduct primary and secondary research, write a capstone paper based on this topic, and finally they design and implement their solution, bridging classroom learning with making societal change. Many of the initiatives born from this process have grown into lasting organisations and have led to impactful community change.
